CII Virtual Workshop on Smart Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing 24th -25th January 2024 (Wednesday & Thursday), 02:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Context Setting
The
significance of manufacturing to society, the global economy, and the growth
of individual prosperity and living standards has never been more evident
than it is felt today. Innovation in manufacturing is the need of the hour. In
this context the role of Additive Manufacturing (AM) technology and 3D printing
is highly recognized. Additive Manufacturing (AM) technologies are adopted
by various industries in improving quality and quick delivery of the products.
Establishing feedstock-process-structure-property-performance relationships is
essential for qualification and certification of parts in critical
applications.
This session shall address fundamentals of Additive Manufacturing (AM) process and its application in various industry sectors. Also, the current and future state of manufacture Industry vis artificial intelligence and robotics’ will be included. This session will include materials of interest in metals, polymers, composites, electronics, ceramics, and another related feedstock.
