CII National Awards for Excellence in Manufacturing 2025 – 4th Edition

CII Pinnacle Awards for Excellence in Manufacturing, instituted in the year 2019, is India's one of the most prestigious Award for Excellence in Manufacturing that any Indian company can aspire for. India today is one of the fastest growing economies and is on the pathway to becoming the Manufacturing Hub in the world.

This is in line with the Government of India's "Make in India" Initiative, the overall objective of the awards is to enhance the manufacturing sector's contribution to GDP.

The manufacturing sector today is faced with huge untapped potential and holds the promise of becoming a super-engine for

economic growth and job creation, with various factors contributing towards strengthening of the ecosystem for manufacturing excellence, like the PLI Schemes for key segments; widespread digital transformation; a strong start-up ecosystem; a more level-playing field and several other factors.

The Awards is based on a comprehensive Manufacturing Evaluation Framework. The Framework covers seven different segments and covers a 360-degree approach towards measuring and recognizing an organisation's performance in their journey towards Manufacturing Excellence.

The following may apply

Companies / Firms registered in India as a legal entity
For MNCs, the Indian Subsidiary may apply

Large organisations can apply at Plant / SBU / Unit Level
Companies / Firms from the SME Category

*Enterprises engaged in the manufacture or production, processing or preservation of goods. Investment in plant and machinery is the original cost excluding land and building and the items specified by the Ministry of Small-Scale Industries vide its Notification No.S.O.1722(E) dated October 5, 2006.

#Proof of the investment figure (a certificate by the auditors) is to be shared at time of Registration. In case of a CII Member, company’s membership certificate would suffice

6. Online Presentation and Interaction with Jury for Shortlisted Applications

7. Second Round - Shortlisting of Applications for both Large Enterprise and SMEs –

- 5 applications for Consolidated Category [each for Large Enterprise and SMEs]
- 1 application each for Domain Excellence(s) [each for Large Enterprise and SMEs] : Final Selection

8. Site Visit and Interaction of Select Jury Member and CII with Final Shortlisted Applicants [Only for Consolidated Category]

9. Final Round Shortlisting of Applications –

3 from Consolidated Category Only [each from Large Enterprise and SMEs]

10. Announcement and Felicitation of Winners at Awards Ceremony – both for Consolidated Category and for Domain Excellence(s)

Important : Companies applying for the Awards will automatically be considered for Domain Excellence(s). No separate application is required.
No application(s) may be shortlisted in a particular category(ies), in case suitability is not ascertained.
For site visit in the Final Round, shortlisted applicant companies have to bear the cost towards flight tickets, local transport and accommodation for Jury Members and 1 CII Staff.

Application Fees*

The applicable fee structure per application is as follows :

CII Members
(Large Enterprise) INR 75,000/-

Non Member Companies
(Large Enterprise) - INR 85,000/-

CII Members
(SMEs) - INR 50,000/-

Non Member Companies
(SMEs) - INR 60,000/-

18% GST will be levied on the applicable fee per application

Terms and Conditions

The CII National Awards for Excellence in Manufacturing (hereafter referred to as the "Awards") reserves the right to refuse entry to any applicant who does not fulfil the eligibility criteria, as stated in the Brochure. [Please check with CII Awards Team for eligibility before Registration and Payment, if required].
This decision is at the sole discretion of the Awards Team and no requests will be entertained.
The Application Form requires the signature of the Official Representative of the Company for that particular application.The signature indicates that all the information contained in the Application is correct, that fee will be paid, and that all requirements of the submission and the eligibility rules will be met.
The Participation Fee, once paid, is non-refundable and non-adjustable (against any other CII programmes).
Any Government taxes and levies will be charged, additionally at actuals, as is prevalent and applicable.
An applicant may not like to pursue with the Awards at any point of time. In such case, Participation Fee will not be refunded.
The Point of Contact filling up the Registration Form need to participate during the assessment process, as and when required.

Claims made by the applicant such as ”unique”, “world first” “one of a kind” or “owned by” must be substantiated. The Awards Team may request further proof to corroborate the applicants’ claim (such as applicable patents, trademarks, registrations or Intellectual property ownerships, etc.).
The details furnished by applicants will be treated as true at the time of submission of Application for the Awards. The Awards Team, however, post conferment of Awards, reserves the right to withdraw the title/award conferred if the information supplied is found to be incorrect, false and invalid.
For site visit in the Final Round, shortlisted applicant companies have to bear the cost towards flight tickets, local transport and accommodation for Jury Members and CII Staff.
The decision of the Jury for evaluation of applications will be final and binding, and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
CII may decide to publish an E-Compendium comprising of information about the Awards. In such case, CII will seek permission from applicants for usage of information.
By submitting an application to the CII National Awards for Excellence in Manufacturing, the applicant agrees to the above-mentioned terms and conditions.
