Workshop on "Inspired Leadership"
Context Setting
The twenty-first-century organization is faced with complexity and change like never before. Rapidly changing times keep adding complexity to businesses and life in general, while continuous technological advances leave us with only two choices - change or perish. Managing effectively is necessary, but not sufficient. If ever businesses needed to create leaders, it’s now!
“The Truth is that no one factor makes a company admirable. But if you were forced to pick the one that makes the most difference, you’d pick leadership.” - Warren Bennis
Wouldn’t it be great to have a workspace full of people who are charged up and inspired to make a difference? The question is, how to achieve that? People cannot be controlled and managed like other resources. They can only be empowered and led. Why? Because other resources do not have the freedom to choose, only people do!
So then, what constitutes leadership? It is perhaps the most discussed concept over the last two decades and one can feel submerged under the plethora of leadership styles that the ‘management’ world has invented! Fortunately, enough, the wheel is ultimately turning a full circle. The organisational world is now waking up to accept and realise the connection between leadership and personal growth. Leadership that does not address holistic growth and fulfilment of its members is a mere façade.
“Leadership is communicating to people their worth and potential so clearly that they come to see it in themselves.” – Stephen Covey
“In our life, at some time our inner fire may go out, but it is burst into flame by an encounter with another human being” – Albert Schweitzer

The workshop is designed to be ‘un-classroom-like’. Experiential insights are gained through a combination of games, activities, and puzzles, aided by appropriate videos and questionnaires. Each of these is followed by individual reflection and group discussion. Active and personalised facilitation encourages participants to derive individual learnings and convert them into actionable plans for growth.
Beginning with the process of delving within and better self-understanding, the programme moves on to preparing oneself to facilitate performance enhancement and self-development in others and also equipping the participants with tools to lead the change and transform their organisations into happier and more fulfilling happy workspaces!
Mere awareness is not a substitute for practice and these learnings are taken forward by developing specific team development agendas and action plans to bring about sustainable changes in participants and their workplace.
