CII Advanced Manufacturing Mission to Germany focusing Industry 4.0 implementation
Context Setting
Germany is widely recognized as a pioneer in the implementation of
the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0). The term "Industry
4.0" was first coined at the Hanover Fair in 2011, and since then,
Germany has been at the forefront of this new wave of innovation.
Considering the above Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is
organizing the Advanced Manufacturing Mission to Germany -
Munich & Frankfurt, focusing Industry 4.0 implementation from
10th to 13th June 2024 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
with a focus on Industry 4.0 Implementation learnings from
Germany.
Objective
The mission will be a platform where different stakeholders can
discuss the related issues and see how it may be used to their
advantage. It will also help Indian manufacturers understand their
standing and overcome the challenges of adopting Industry 4.0.
