CII Online Session on ‘POKA YOKE (Mistake Proofing) for Enhancing Profitability of Business’

Context Setting

‘POKA-YOKE’, also known as mistake-proofing, is a technique of avoiding and eliminating simple human errors that may occur during operations in factories / plants / workplaces which would cause defects. The concept was founded by Dr Shigeo Shingo, an industrial engineer, Toyota Motor Corp. in 1961 and implemented as a part of well-known Toyota Production System.

Poka-Yoke makes it practically impossible to make mistakes. It aims at Zero defect to improve ‘Quality of a Product’ as well as ‘Profitability of a Company’ to survive in the long run during cut-throat and healthy competition.

CII CME has scheduled a 1-day 3-hrs duration online Workshop on Tuesday, 15 March 2022 from 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 a.m.
