Context Setting
Quality, cost and delivery have long been considered as key indicators for supplier selection process and performance. The arrival of lean methodology is another beneficial aspect to the quality-supplier network. To create an integrated value supply chain, a strong relationship and collaboration is required between both supplier and buyer and also with internal functions aligning to goals.
Good quality management (QM) can enhance your organisation's brand and reputation, protect it against risks, increase its efficiency, boost its profits and reduce 8W waste.
The biggest attraction of QM is that profits can be increased without having to increase sales. This is primarily done by employing various tools and techniques throughout the product cycle from vendor and inhouse process selections to improve quality, process and product layout optimisation, forecasting and inventory management.
This programme has been designed with special focus on process using appropriate tools and techniques of 8W, Demand forecasting and Inventory management.
