Context Setting
Process Safety Management (PSM) has been a critical consideration
in the plants that handle hazardous chemicals, flammable gases and liquids. It
is a disciplined framework for managing the integrity of operating systems,
safety critical equipment (SCE) and safe work practices.
This training introduces PSM, highlights an effective PSM and
provides PSM practices of the industries. Effective PSM can prevent or mitigate
catastrophic releases which can cause health problems, fire, explosions, and
fatalities.

Mr. Jitendra Kumar
Mr. Jitendra Kumar is working as
Director at FET Solutions and is the Process Design and Safety team leader. A
chemical engineer from IIT Delhi, he has more than 30 years of Process Safety
and Design consulting experience.
At present he is managing the Indian
business in Process Safety and Risk Management for Global projects carried out
by FET Solutions. His work experience includes executing and managing Safety
and Risk consulting assignments at over 900 sites globally. These include
Offshore and Onshore Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals (API, formulations),
Agrochem, Chemicals, Food and others.
