Context Setting
Industries across sectors are experiencing the disruptive influence of Digital Technologies, which is transforming the ways businesses are conducted and industries are run. This is primarily led by the advent of IIoT and Industry 4.0 implementation in general, and the all-pervasive impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions in particular. This is making it imperative for companies to rethink, redesign and recalibrate the functions governing every phase of a plant’s life cycle, from design/engineering to manufacturing, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance. In order to remain competitive, profitable, relevant and future-ready, it is now essential to understand various facets of emerging technologies, assess their impacts and draw up strategies and roadmaps to implement such digital transformation.
This program aims at providing an overview of digital transformation opportunities and challenges in the specific domain of Operation & Maintenance of industrial assets.
