Former Prime Minister Shri Inder Kumar Gujral laid the foundation stone of the CII Naoroji Godrej Centre of Manufacturing Excellence at Pirojshanagar, Vikhroli, Mumbai on 30th December 1997. The Centre of Excellence was set up to provide facilities for education, training and development for industry.

Over the years, it has built a large pool of qualified and well experienced faculty. The uniqueness of this Centre is that it promotes learning through small groups and intensive interaction with the faculty, which is predominantly drawn from industry experts and practitioners.
